The protest started off at the corner of Forge Rd and Farrell Rd. S.E. at 8:00 AM. Signs were displayed and free information postcards were made available to all who wanted more information.

Protesters from as far away as Edmonton attended in support.

I found it interesting there were three Calgary Police Service (CPS) vehicles stationed at the AARC building. No CPS  vehicles were stationed where the Stop AARC Abuses protesters were standing.

A number of angry AARC supporters were quick to show their middle finger to the protesters as they drove by.

Two AARC supporters were stopped by the Calgary Police Service (CPS) before walking by the Stop AARC Abuses protesters. They remained silent as they both walked by us twice. The two AARC supporters later complain to the CPS they did not like their pictures being taken by the Stop AARC Abuses protesters. The CPS warned me that this upset them and could start a confrontation. Interestingly the Stop AARC Abuses protesters have never complained about the AARC supporters or media taking our pictures. Stop AARC Abuses protesters know we have nothing to hide from the public.

After the protest was moved closer to the AARC building Global TV stopped by and interviewed Stop AARC Abuses protesters.

Many people driving by also honked their car horns in a show of support for the Stop AARC Abuses protesters message.

Lastly I find it says a lot that the AARC supporters have not posted any abusive comments on the facebook event page this time. Very unlike the first Stop AARC Abuses protest at the Hyatt when they were quick to post many very abusive comments. Their very abusive comments were screen captured and posted to our message forums here.

The protest was a huge success! We were able to educate many hundreds of people in just a few hours. One family drove 3 hours one way to support the protest efforts. Imagine all the people we will be able to educate over the course of the next year during future protests and a web site and message forum that millions will see over the course of one year alone. We won a battle tonight folks and we will win the war in the end too. Exciting times ahead folks! Donations are already coming in too. Thank you all for the awesome support!
